Shell Cove Home Renovation

A full home renovation in Shell Cove, on the Illawarra coast, with interiors by Birdblack Design. Behind a new facade of white weatherboard and natural stone, the home is layered in warm timber and texture. A fluted timber wall runs from the entry up the stairwell, concealing a hidden door, and frames a double sided stone fireplace. The kitchen pairs integrated timber joinery and brushed brass hardware with a handmade tiled rangehood and a navy VJ island, while a second stone fireplace and navy panelled window seat anchor the living room. A walk in robe lit by a skylight, a calm main bathroom with a freestanding bath and a wallpapered powder room complete the interior. Outside, the upstairs balcony and its outdoor kitchen were fully reclad, and the pool area was refreshed with a NewTechWood castellated cladding fence and new lighting.
