Oakmont is a local builder, and we keep our work close to home. We build custom homes, renovations and extensions across the Southern Highlands, from Bowral and Moss Vale to Mittagong and Berrima, and through Wollongong and the Illawarra, from the northern beaches down to Shellharbour and Kiama. Staying local means Tom is on site every week, our trades are people we have worked with for years, and we know the councils, the climate and the character of the homes in each town.

The Highlands is home to some of the most beautiful period and country homes in New South Wales, and much of our work here is about building new homes that feel settled from day one, or renovating and extending older homes with details that suit them. We understand the cold winters, the Wingecarribee planning controls and the materials that age well in this climate.

Builder in Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and the Illawarra coast. From coastal homes facing the escarpment to family homes in established suburbs, we build new homes, full renovations and extensions made for coastal living, with materials and detailing chosen to handle salt air and summer storms. Tom lives in the Illawarra, so this is our own backyard.
