Ainslee AdamcewiczWe recently had the pleasure of dealing with Tom and his team with the completion of our full house renovation in Bowral. From first introduction to our final walk through Tom has been fantastic to work with. The attention to detail from everyone involved with clear and upfront communication throughout the whole process was excellent. Would absolutely recommend Oakmont Building Group to anyone looking for a builder. We are very happy with our new home. Thanks so much Tom and team we are very appreciative of all your hard work.Posted on Google
Erin WinchBack at the end of 2025 we unfortunately had some storm damage to our bathroom that unbeknownst to us would require a full gut and redo of our almost new bathroom. After a lengthy fight with our insurance company and many conversations with builders i came across Tom & Oakmont Building Group. From the get go Tom has been absolutely incredible to deal with, from coming up out of his way on his day off to quote the job due to our tight timeframes to answering every silly question and query I had along the way ( and there were alot!) nothing was too much, nothing was a stupid question and he made us feel completely at ease. When it came to the job itself he not only accommodated everything we wanted and worked with us to make it all work but his attention to detail is second to none. For the trades that he works with and his offsider Brendan (thank you for answering my calls and stupid questions when Tom couldn't) they were all incredible, the jobsite was kept in order and clean at all times with minimal interruption to our home and family (extremely hard to accomplish with one bathroom thats being renovated) and were all extremely polite and respectful. His tiler Nath, i am still in awe of the exceptional attention to detail in our tiles, the layout, the precision in delivery even the grout lines! So thank you. Our new bathroom is exquisite, like something out of a magazine honestly! We could not be happier with the outcome, it's my dream bathroom! I would not hesitate in using Oakmont and their trades again and again for any job I may have in the future, the absolute best experience and I am so incredibly grateful. Oakmont building group and their trades, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Posted on Google
Stevee-Lee ParnellWe recently completed an extensive home renovation with Oakmont Building Group, and it’s hard to put into words just how exceptional the entire experience was from start to finish. From our first interaction, their professionalism and depth of knowledge stood out. They took the time to genuinely understand our vision and lifestyle, offering thoughtful suggestions that elevated our ideas rather than simply executing them. This gave us complete confidence we were in the right hands. Communication throughout the project was outstanding. We were kept informed at every stage with clear timelines, regular updates, and full transparency. Any questions were answered quickly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble—making the whole process far less stressful than we expected. The quality of workmanship across every aspect of the renovation was exceptional. Every detail was completed with care and precision, from structural elements through to the final finishes. It’s clear they work with highly skilled trades who take real pride in what they do. A standout part of the experience was the owner, Tom. He was exceptional from start to finish and remained across every detail of the project to ensure everything ran smoothly. His hands-on involvement, accountability, and commitment to delivering a high-quality result made a noticeable difference and gave us complete confidence throughout. What truly sets them apart is their commitment to excellence. They consistently went above and beyond, handling any challenges professionally and always prioritising the best outcome for us. The project was delivered on time, and the organisation behind the scenes ensured everything flowed seamlessly. The entire team was a pleasure to deal with—respectful, approachable, and genuinely invested in achieving a result we would love. Our home has been completely transformed. It’s not only more functional and beautifully finished, but it also feels like a true reflection of us. We would highly recommend Oakmont Building Group to anyone considering a renovation or build. Their professionalism, craftsmanship, and genuine care for their clients is truly outstanding.Posted on Google
Lucy YoungWe recently hired Oakmont Building to remove our old double garage doors and replace them with a single new door, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the entire process was smooth and professional.Posted on Google
Adam TaskerA recent renovation of our laundry/second bathroom was undertaken by Tom and the crew at Oakmont Building Group, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The quote was very reasonable, and before we accepted it, Tom took the time to walk us through a few minor issues that could arise. I’m so glad they did — that upfront honesty and attention to detail gave us real confidence before any work even began. The team completed the job a few days ahead of schedule and to a level of professionalism you’d expect to see in a Sydney Harbour mansion. The workmanship, communication, and overall experience were outstanding. Highly recommend Tom and the Oakmont team.Posted on Google
